Police have arrested a teen in connection with an armed robbery in Jackson County in October.

Dalton R. Carver, 19, of New Washington, was booked into the Jackson County Jail in Brownstown on an armed robbery charge, a Level 3 felony, on Thursday. He’s currently being held without bond.

A warrant was requested for Carver’s arrest in November in Jackson County Circuit Court.

Detective Ben Rudolph with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department said police believe Carver accompanied Dustin L. Dunn of Seymour during an armed robbery Oct. 13 at a Uniontown gas station.

Police said Dunn used a BB gun that looked like a real firearm and displayed the weapon to a clerk, demanding money from the register. Dunn was handed an undisclosed amount by the clerk and he and Carver left.

Rudolph said Carver was at the Clark County Jail when police transported him to Jackson County on Thursday morning.

Dunn has a jury trial set for 8:30 a.m. Sept. 29 in Jackson Circuit Court for his involvement in the robbery, according to court documents.

Carver’s trial date has not been set.
