NORTH VERNON

Richard S. Beckman, 73, of North Vernon, died Friday, May 1, 2015, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital.

Survivors include four daughters, Teressa McCane of North Vernon, Dora (Rick) Robinson and Karen Riney, both of Columbus, and Holly (Jerry) Brewer of Fennville, Michigan; two sons, Daniel McCane of North Vernon and Richard Beckman Jr. of Zeeland, Michigan; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Gray Beckman.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no services.

Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Services handled the arrangements.
