Jackson County History Center’s second antiques and craft show begins Thursday and will continue through Saturday.

This event will run in conjunction with the Jackson County Antique Farm Machinery Show at the Jackson County Fairgrounds on State Road 250, east of Brownstown. The history center show, featuring craftsmen and women and other vendors selling their wares, will be in the antique building.

The Southeastern Indiana Woodturners will be conducting a “learn to turn” wood project. They will have a lathe on site to demonstrate wood turning and several completed projects.

One of the group’s outreaches is “Pens for Soldiers,” which involves making pens that are given to active military members or veterans to show appreciation for their service. This activity is open to those ages 9 to 80.

The show is open noon to 5 p.m. Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
