BLOUNTSTOWN, Fla.

Etta Mae Napier, 84, of Blountstown, Florida, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2015, at Big Bend Hospice House in Tallahassee, Florida.

Born Sept. 23, 1930, in Paris Crossing, she was the daughter of Corte and Hallie Hortenbury Grant, both of whom preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, James Napier of Florida; a sister, Imogene Terkhorn of Indiana; stepchildren, Richard (Pappy) Napier and James Napier Jr., both of Indiana, Debra Murdock of Florida; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Evelynn Soviern; brothers, Corte Grant Jr., Joe Grant and Leon Grant, all of Indiana; and sons Dennis Thomas, Gary Thomas and Tony Thomas.

A private family graveside service was conducted at Acme Cemetery by Voss Funeral Service in Seymour.
