Ivy Tech continues student art show

The Gallery of Fine Art & Design at Ivy Tech Community College Columbus is featuring the annual student show until June 15.

Work displayed represents the departments of photography, graphic design, interactive design and environmental/interior design. It celebrates the excellence of work created during the entire academic year. Much of the work in this exhibit is a result of student participation in the annual design workshop series, ReTh!nk: Design That Matters.

This year, the sessions focused on the development of the State Street Corridor Renewal Plan in East Columbus, which was designed to improve the functionality, walkability and economic vitality of the area. The workshops were funded by the Indiana Arts Commission, the Ivy Tech Foundation and Ivy Tech Student Life.

Gallery hours from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Friday.
