CROTHERSVILLE

Krista Shay Herald, 30, a lifelong resident of Crothersville, passed away at 1:10 a.m., Monday, May 11, 2015, at her home.

Born Nov. 27, 1984, in Louisville, she was the daughter of Don and Dee Smith Herald. They survive in Crothersville.

Krista was a member of First Baptist Church of Crothersville. She loved her two boys. She enjoyed riding her bike with Wyatt and cuddling with Easton. Krista was kindhearted, and her favorite color was purple.

Other survivors include her two sons, Wyatt and Easton Minton, and their father, Derrick Minton, all of Crothersville; a sister, Annette (Randy) King of Crothersville; a brother, Ryan Herald of Jeffersonville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Jason Herald; and her grandparents, Andy and Polly Herald and Avis and Athalean Miner.

All services will be private.
