The Purdue Extension Jackson County director will discuss tips and tricks to planting trees and shrubs at 6 p.m. Monday at the Crothersville library, 120 E. Main St.

Richard Beckort, who also is an extension educator for natural and agricultural resources, will lead the free program open to all ages.
