Reah Dawn Ault, 66, of Spraytown, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2015, surrounded by her family and friends.

Born Dec. 8, 1948, in Seymour, she was the daughter of Howard Henry “Chub” and Opal Virginia Burns Ault, both of whom preceded her in death.

Reah Dawn’s first job was with Jack Dunfee Chevrolet; then she went to work at Cosco/Dorel where she was employed for more than 30 years. After that, she was Spraytown Free Methodist Church day care director for several years and then went to work in the Jackson County Recorder’s Office. She served on the church board, as church choir director and Vacation Bible School director. She also served on the Pershing Township Fire Board, Freetown Alumni Association and Freetown Elementary INSAI Committee. Some of Reah Dawn’s favorite memories were all the trips she took to Gatlinburg, Tennessee, with her friends and family over the years. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends and family especially euchre.

Survivors include her sister, Vickie Fleetwood; her niece, Alisha Dawn (Ezra Jack) Griffin; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Gerald Wayne “G.W.” Fleetwood.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Voss Chapel with Pastor Jerry VanKuiken and Pastor Jay Vincent officiating.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.

Burial will be at White’s Chapel.
