A hunter education class will be from 8:30 a.m to 4 p.m. Saturday and from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Vallonia Tree Nursery, 2782 W. County Road 540S.
Participants must attend each day and pass a test at the end of the free course to receive a hunter education certification. The certificate is required for anyone born after Dec. 31, 1986, who wants to obtain a hunting license.
Anyone under 12 needs to be accompanied by an adult. The class is limited to 40 students.
