Evadean Davidson, 80, of Seymour, passed away at 8:15 p.m. Friday, May 22, 2015, at her residence.

Born June 14, 1934, in Jeffersonville, she was the daughter of General and Georgia McDaniel, both of whom preceded her in death. On Feb. 28, 1953, she married John C. Davidson, who preceded her in death.

A graduate of Clearspring High School, Mrs. Davidson retired after 25 years of service as an office clerk with the Indiana State Highway Department. Evadean was a country girl at heart who enjoyed collecting. She was a pleasant and kind individual who valued her family and heritage.

Survivors include a son, Mark (Terrye) Davidson of Seymour; four grandchildren, Clint Davidson of Columbus, Ohio, Libby Davidson of Portland, Oregon, Nate (Ann) Tormoehlen of Seymour, and Trent (Laura) Tormoehlen of Indianapolis; and four great-grandchildren, Ty, Kirby, Cooper and Logan Tormoehlen

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

The funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home in Brownstown.

Visitation will from 1 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Smallwood Cemetery, Brownstown.
