NORTH VERNON

Michael T. Root, 44, of North Vernon, died at 2:55 a.m. Friday, May 22, 2015, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Survivors include his father, Michael Root of North Vernon; a sister, Kelley Ferguson of North Vernon; and two daughters, Alisha Brewer of North Vernon and Jerryka Root of Seymour.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Deborah Root.

No visitation or funeral is planned.
