Loyal Devoir Society of Central Christian Church met with President Paula Stafford calling the meeting to order and thanking Patty Elmore’s group for serving as hostesses.

Loretta Riehl gave devotions.

Lucy Dembek gave the board report and asked everyone to attend a meeting after the Fellowship Cafe on June 7. That meeting will concern the bylaws for a new direction.

It was reported saleswoman Bonnie Koontz conducted a sale on April 26.

A freewill offering bake sale was conducted May 6 with Janice Brock and Betty Guinn in charge.

The Delta Kappa Gamma dinner is at 6 p.m. May 19. Loretta Riehl discussed the menu. Volunteers will make the salad and pies. Others volunteered to cook and serve the meal.

The youth bake sale was May 2 at Walmart Supercenter.

Members voted to give cookbooks to new members and newlyweds along with an invitation to join Loyal Devoir.

The next meeting will be at 7 p.m. today with leader Janice Brock and her group as hostesses.

The meeting closed with the Mizpah Benediction.
