A Purdue Extension family nutritionist and dietitian plans to present a program about how to make a fast and healthy “hero sandwich” at 6 p.m. June 3 at the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St.

The program by Lauren Neuenschwander will include recipes, and samples will be available.

Registration is required by Monday by going to myjclibrary.org/events or calling the Seymour Library at 812-523-4636. This program has a minimum of five attendees.

Many kinds of “hero” programs for all ages are being presented this summer during the Jackson County Public Library’s Summer Reading Program, which is themed “Every Hero Has a Story!” Sign-up for summer reading begins Sunday.
