NORTH VERNON

William Louis “Bill” Horstman, 81, of North Vernon, died at 10:09 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 2015, at St. Vincent Heart Center in Indianapolis.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Ann Horstman of North Vernon; his son, Duane Horstman of Lebanon; and his daughter, Denise Horstman of North Vernon.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in North Vernon, with the Rev. Marvin Sweet and the Rev. Joe Wyatt officiating.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the church. Members of the Indiana Volunteer Fire Fighters Association will conduct a service at 7 p.m. Friday.

Burial will be in Vernon Cemetery, with members of Matt Hester Post 2021 providing military graveside rites.

Memorials may be made to Indiana United Methodist Children’s Home in Lebanon or First United Methodist Church in North Vernon.
