‘Animal Tales’ program planned at 3 area sites

Jackson County Public Library will present “Animal Tales” at 10:30 a.m. June 8 at the Boys & Girls Club of Seymour.

Other presentations that day will be at 2:30 p.m. at the Crothersville Library and at 4:30 p.m. at the Medora Library.

The Animal Avengers program will feature live, exotic wildlife that possess unique abilities, according to a news release.

Enhanced adaptations for sight, sound, touch, strength and movement allow these animals to overcome barriers. The audience will be asked to interact with the animals through “hands-on” volunteering, a question-and-answer session and crowd participation activities. All are guaranteed an up-close and personal experience.

Made possible by Friends of the Library, the program is open to the public. Free tickets for the show are available at the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St. No tickets are necessary for the Crothersville or Medora shows.
