Woman reporting five people had broken into her house and tried to harm her, 500 block of West Walnut Street, 11:20 a.m. Wednesday. Police said they were able to determine the woman, who said she was able to tie up two of the five and fight off the other three with a hammer, had taken methamphetamine. The same woman reported similar incidents two times earlier in the day.
