BASEBALL

Seymour sectional semis, finals today

The Seymour vs. Bedford North Lawrence baseball game, scheduled Saturday in the Seymour Class 4A Sectional at American Legion Field, was postponed due to lightning and rain.

Floyd Central defeated New Albany 11-6 in the first game Saturday.

Lightning came just as Bedford North Lawrence was completing its infield practice. Following a 30-minute wait, just as the teams returned to the field, heavy rain arrived.

The Owls will play the Stars at 3 p.m. today, and that winner will face Floyd Central in the championship game at 7 p.m.
