Reins to Recovery offering coed day

Reins to Recovery, 1660 N. County Road 1000W, Seymour, plans to offer a coed day horse camp for children ages 7 to 13 from June 22 to 26.

The camp, which begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m. each day, is for children who love horses.

The program allows children to participate in the daily responsibilities of feeding, grooming and caring for their horse, while learning about breeds, colors, horsemanship, showmanship, veterinary care, farrier work, different riding disciplines and how to ride.

The camp is for beginners to advanced riders.

Lunch, snacks and water will be provided. Extended care will be available from 4 to 5:30 p.m. for additional fees.
