The Seymour junior varsity and varsity girls basketball teams will conduct a shootout Friday and Saturday.

Teams competing with the Owls are Columbus East, North Central, Western Boone, Austin, Carmel (two units), Silver Creek, Salem, East Central, Southport and North Harrison.

On Friday, Seymour’s varsity will play North Central at 2 p.m., Western Boone at 5 p.m. and Austin at 8 p.m in the high school’s main gym.

The Owls JV team, which will play its games at Seymour Middle School, plays Western Boone at 2 p.m., Columbus East at 4 p.m. and Southport at 6 p.m on Friday.

Friday night, seeds will be announced for the varsity 12-team, single-elimination tournament set to take place on Saturday at the high school. Games will start at 1 p.m.

Also on Saturday, the Owls JV team will play Jeffersonville at 11 a.m. in the high school main gym.
