The Indiana Department of Transportation will restrict U.S. 50 to a single lane today and Friday at a bridge over Smallwood Ditch west of Brownstown.

The bridge is about a half-mile west of North State Road 135. Motorists will be directed across the structure one-direction-at-a-time by flaggers.

OLCO of Batesville, the state’s contractor, plans to repair the driving surface and reinstall expansion joints as part of a three-bridge $132,211 Seymour District project.

The work is weather-dependent.
