Friends of the Jackson County Public Library is sponsoring a dramatized re-enactment of the life of the country’s 16th president at 2 p.m. June 20 at the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St.

“Hero! The Life of Lincoln” will feature the David Wolfe family from Kentucky. For years, the family has recreated Abraham Lincoln and his life in programs. Wolfe takes viewers back through the life of Lincoln and talks about heroes.

The Wolfe family visited Seymour last November and performed their program, The Holidays with the Lincolns.

This program is suitable for all ages. Registration is preferred by Tuesday by going to myjclibrary.org/events or calling the Seymour Library at 523-INFO (523-4636).

Those interested should watch for many kinds of “hero” programs for all ages being presented this summer during the Jackson County Public Library’s Summer Reading Program, which is themed: Every Hero Has a Story!
