PEWEE VALLEY, Ky.

Judy Ann Owen Hirtzel, 70, of Pewee Valley, Kentucky, formerly of Vallonia, passed away Wednesday, June 10, with her family by her side.

She was a beloved wife, mother, mamaw, aunt and friend.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 50 years, William J. “Bil” Hirtzel; her children, Carey (Jennie) Hirtzel, Justin (Jill) Hirtzel and Jane Anne (Jeff) Kaelin; and grandchildren, Austin and Lexi Hirtzel, Joshua Hirtzel, and Lucas, Alex and Ellie Kaelin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Freda and Rodney Owen; and her sister, Betty Bastin.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Pewee Valley, Kentucky, at 11 a.m. Monday with burial to follow in Pewee Valley Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at Stoess Funeral Home in Crestwood, Kentucky.
