Ralph LeRoy Coryea, 78, of Spencer, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2015, at IU Health Hospital in Bloomington.
Born Feb. 2, 1937, in Seymour, he was the son of Ralph and Irilene Engleking Coryea, both of whom preceded him in death.
Ralph served in the United States Air Force. He worked for the Pennsylvania, Penn Central, Conrail and CSX railroads for 41 years before retiring in 1998. He was a member of First Christian Church of Spencer and enjoyed being outdoors, staying active and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Donna Moehring Coryea; sons, LeRoy (Julie) Coryea of Englewood, Ohio, Kevin Coryea of Logansport, Donald (Tracey) Coryea of Spencer, and Travis (Dawn) Coryea of Bloomington; siblings, Larry (Carol) Bolton of Lafayette, and Mary (Gib) Short of Brooklyn; and nine grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Chambersville Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service Monday at the funeral home. Military rites will be performed by the Spencer American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars posts.
