The Indiana Department of Transportation plans to close the left lane of southbound Interstate 65 at advancing work sites between the 50- and 45-mile markers next week.

Operations to make concrete repairs at pavement transition areas south of Seymour will begin at 7 p.m. Sunday and continue until 1 p.m. Friday.

John R. Jurgensen Co. is the state’s contractor for this $54.7 million INDOT Seymour District pavement project, which has involved the renovation of 21 lane miles of pavement and rehabilitated 20 bridges along I-65 between U.S. 50 at Seymour and State Road 56 at Scottsburg.
