Hunter Dean Patton, 58, of Dupont, died at 4:40 p.m. Thursday, June 11, 2015, in Columbus as a result of a motorcycle accident.

Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Patton of Dupont; two sons, Hunter Joseph Patton of Dupont, and Joshua (Samantha) Patton of Butlerville; two daughters, Amanda (J.D.) Hook of Madison, and Christina (John) McCoy of Cabot, Arkansas; a brother, Darren (Jenny) Patton of Dupont; a sister, Vickie (Wayman) Loyd of Indianapolis; and seven grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon with Am Vet’s chaplain George Uppling officiating.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Dupont Cemetery with a member of the Madison American Legion providing military graveside rites.
