Voss Funeral Service in Seymour plans to conduct an estate planning seminar once a month through October.

The first seminar will be from 10 to 11 a.m. June 25 in the community room at MainSource Bank, 1130 E. Tipton St., Seymour.

Elder care attorney Denise Connell will be speaking on why people need an estate plan and how to get one started.

Topics will include what an estate can do for you, how to organize financial documents, roles for the individuals needed in the process and other important things to remember when preparing your estate.

The seminars are free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
