Dicksons Inc. recently announced the promotion of Stephanie Flinn to vice president of product development.

Flinn has been with the Seymour company since 1998, starting in customer service, according to a news release. In 1999, she was named Customer Service Representative of the Year.

She then moved into sales as a key account customer service representative and was promoted to key account coordinator and later to key account executive. In 2009, she became director of marketing.

Flinn will help the company with overall strategic planning and lead product development and marketing teams to position the company for growth, according to Dicksons President Steve Vandivier.

Dicksons, a Christian and inspirational gift manufacturer and wholesaler located at Freeman Field, was founded in 1944 and has been part of the Seymour community since 1953.
