ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.

Irma Jean Dickerhoof, 92, of St. Petersburg, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 13, 2015.

Born Oct. 11, 1922, in Seymour, she was the daughter of Alfred and Mary Moren, both of whom preceded her in death. She was married to Wilford Dickerhoof, who also preceded her in death. She moved to the Tampa Bay area 42 years ago.

Irma worked for more than 20 years at Pasadena Community Church in St. Petersburg in a variety of jobs, including director of adult ministries, Sunday school teacher and president of the United Methodist women’s group.

She loved watching sports, including the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Rays, Chicago Bulls and San Antonio Spurs.

Irma was a great mother, wife and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her, but we are blessed and joyful knowing that her faith in Christ will allow her to live on eternally.

Survivors include a sister, June (Paddy) Marhanka of Seymour; a daughter, Jane Dickerhoof of Dunnellon, Florida; a son, Thomas (Denise) Dickerhoof of Tampa, Florida; grandchildren, Amanda Dickerhoof, Ryan Dickerhoof and Tressa (Matt) Yount; and two great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, David Dickerhoof, and his wife Terri; a grandson, James Dickerhoof; and five of her siblings.

Brewer and Sons Funeral Home in Tampa, Florida, handled the arrangements.
