Space remains available for the Junior Master Naturalist course that will be conducted July 20 to 24 at Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge.

The course will consist of half-day morning programs on plants, wildlife, geology, wetlands and other natural resource topics around the visitor center at the refuge at 12985 U.S. 50 East, Seymour.

Different subjects will be covered each day of the course, and students will be expected to attend all of the sessions and complete some volunteer work to receive a Junior Master Naturalist patch and certificate.

Course times will be from 9 a.m. to noon July 20 to 23 and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 24. A $15 fee is payable at the first class to cover course materials.
