4-H members awarded scholarships

Nine Jackson County 4-H members recently were awarded Indiana 4-H Foundation Scholarships.

The awards were based on community service, leadership and project work through the 4-H program, according to a news release from the Jackson County Extension Office.

All scholarship winners are 10-year members of Jackson County 4-H. The scholarship winners, their parents and the scholarship they received are:

Clayton Pottschmidt, son of Dale and Teresa Pottschmidt, Jackson County 4-H Junior Leaders Indiana 4-H Foundation Senior Scholarship

Macey Warren, daughter of Walter and Jan Warren, Jackson County Club Committee Indiana 4-H Foundation Senior Scholarship

Mackenzie Farmer, daughter of Edward and Kristie Farmer, Jackson County – CB Hess Memorial Indiana 4-H Foundation Senior Scholarship

Katy Nolting, daughter of Mark and Jane Nolting, Jackson County 4-H Auction 4-H Foundation Senior Scholarship

Kayla Schneider, daughter of James and Kim Schneider, Jackson County 4-H Auction 4-H Foundation Senior Scholarship

Allison Hackman, daughter of Tom and Ruth Hackman, Jackson County 4-H Junior Leader 4-H Foundation Senior Scholarship

Shelby Nierman, daughter of Brian and Amy Nierman, CB Hess Memorial 4-H Scholarship from the Indiana 4-H Foundation

Marley Vehslage, daughter of David and Rebecca Vehslage, Jackson County Club Committee Indiana 4-H Foundation Senior Scholarship

Amanda Stuckwisch, daughter of Ed and Sara Stuckwisch, Jackson County — CB Hess Memorial Indiana 4-H Foundation Senior Scholarship
