NORTH VERNON

Mary A. Ley, 87, of North Vernon, died at 1 a.m. Friday, June 19, 2015, at Four Seasons Retirement Center in Columbus.

She is survived by her husband, Robert G. Ley of Columbus and formerly of North Vernon; daughter, Susan (Bill) Tally of New Bern, North Carolina; brothers, Raymond Ebbing of Georgia, Paul Ebbing of Arizona and Leo Ebbing and Vincent Ebbing, both of Ohio; sisters, Ann Hopkins of Florida and Rita Farren and Virginia Halcomb, both of North Vernon; one grandson; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Steven, Michael, Robert and Alan Ley.

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in North Vernon with the Rev. Jerry Byrd officiating. Inurnment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Sawyer-Pickett Funeral Home in North Vernon handled the arrangements.
