Robert W. Kocsis, 61, of Crothersville, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015, at IU University Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born March 25, 1954, in Wichita, Kansas, he was the son of Joseph Kocsis, who survives in Derby, Kansas, and the late Delores Featherby Kocsis. On July 1, 2005, he married Wanda Jean Hanner, who survives.
He was a United States veteran. He had worked at Exopack in Seymour as a forklift driver. He enjoyed landscaping for other people and was very involved with Toys for Tots.
Other survivors include his children, Keila (Ernie) Tice, Robert (Amy) Kocsis II, Jericho (Glenda) Kocsis, Candace Kocsis and Sheena Kocsis; two stepchildren, Curtis Imlay and Anita Woodard; brother, Scott Disabitino; sister, Pam (Doug) Smith; mother-in-law, Mary Hanner; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by brothers, Larry Kocsis and Johnny Kocsis; and a sister, Mary Kocsis.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home in Brownstown.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Kurtz Cemetery with military graveside rites.
