INDOT closes State Road 250 west of U.S. 31
The Indiana Department of Transportation closed State Road 250 between Dudleytown and Uniontown on Tuesday after two 36-inch drainage pipes collapsed causing the road to drop “significantly.”
Maintenance crews from INDOT’s Brownstown unit will excavate the roadway near County Road 900E, remove the failed pipes and replace them during daylight hours today.
INDOT officials anticipate lifting the emergency closure late in the day at the site, located west of U.S. 31.
