Free concert at church features The Texans

The Texans will present a concert at 7 p.m. Sunday at White’s Chapel United Methodist Church, 550 W. County Road 925N, Seymour.

The public is invited to this free concert. A love offering will be taken.

The Texans’ ministry was originally organized as the Masters’ Four at Dallas Christian College in 1971. In 1981, the group moved to Branson, Missouri, and became known as The Texans. The group has performed in family entertainment shows at Branson and have since traveled the world sharing the message of Christ to all.

The Texans have won numerous awards including, Texas Group of the Year, Ozark Music Awards Group of the Year and Entertainers of the Year. They have shared the stage with such famous speakers as Jerry Falwell, Charles Stanley and Jesse Duplantis.

Their music selections range from Carman’s “The Champion” to Ray Stevens’ “The Day the Squirrel went Berserk.”
