Mary E. Spall, 96, of Crothersville, passed away Friday, June 26, 2015, in Seymour.

Born Jan. 16, 1919, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of John and Dora Richey McMorris, both of whom preceded her in death. In August 1940, she married Delbert L. Spall, who also preceded her in death.

Mary was a pastor’s wife at West Side Pentecostal Church in Indianapolis for 35 years and was involved with the music ministry at their church with her two daughters.

Survivors include her children, Thomas (Bettie) Spall, Jeanne Moss, Larry (Glenda) Spall and Susan (Race) Henderson; 10 grandchildren, Ron (Kathleen) Spall, Darlene (Kenny) Bailey, Denise (Kenny) Lee, Drucilla Darring, Clayton (Alyson) Henderson, Caleb (Karlie) Henderson and Dora, Darius, Seth and Josiah Spall; six great-grandchildren, Karah (Johnny) Lowthorpe, Kristina (Austin) Campbell, Patrick Bailey, Kaitlyn Bailey, Jordan Minton and Adyson Henderson; and three great-great-grandchildren, Joshua Stewart, Jaxon Stewart and Analeigh Campbell.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Nell Herman; brothers, Sheridan McMorris and Dewey McMorris; and a grandchild, Eric Spall.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at The Tabernacle in Seymour with the Rev. Anthony Oliver and the Rev. Aaron Arrowood officiating. Burial will follow at Uniontown Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Voss Chapel in Seymour and from 10 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at the church.
