Carletta “Gloria” Frazier Tolson, 53, of Seymour, formerly of Columbus, died at 8:15 p.m. Friday, June 26, 2015, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility in Columbus.

Gloria was born March 6, 1962, in Columbus, the daughter of Lenville and Myletta Smith Frazier. She married Daniel J. Tolson on Oct. 1, 2005, at Beck’s Grove Christian Church. She was a home health aide CNA working as a client adviser and caregiver at DSI. She worked for Carrico Furniture Co. for several years and as a security guard.

She was baptized at Ogilville Christian Church on Oct. 19, 1975. She had many interests including crafts, collecting angels, reading, movies, the Indianapolis Colts, the outdoors and flowers. She loved the ocean and beach combing, and she was a certified scuba diver. She dearly loved her niece and nephew.

Survivors include her husband, Daniel J. Tolson of Seymour; father, Lenville Frazier of Columbus; stepson, Nick Tolson of Hobbs, New Mexico; sisters, Gail (Perry) Shepard of Seymour and Lori Gay (Glenn “Skeeter”) Martin of Columbus; nephew, Zachary Martin; niece, Athena Martin; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

The funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th Street in Columbus with Pastor Nelson Lee officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
