Victoria A. Ollo, the daughter of Jeff and Kim Ollo of Seymour, graduated May 23 from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York, as a second lieutenant in the United States Army.

She graduated in the top 5 percent of her class with a bachelor of science degree in nuclear engineering and received the Leslie R. Groves Award, presented to the cadet with the most outstanding performance in the nuclear engineering major.

After completing further training in her branch of military intelligence at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, Ollo and her fiancé, 2nd Lt. Patrick I. Bastianelli of Fort Dix, New Jersey, will be stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

The couple plan to have a June 2016 wedding at West Point.
