Lawrence Edward “Ed” Goble, 42, of Seymour, passed away Monday, Aug. 3, 2015, at Schneck Medical Center.

Born Feb. 7, 1973, in Seymour, he was the son of Dennis Lee Goble, who preceded him in death, and Judith Ann Gray Goble, who survives in Seymour.

Ed had attended The Point in Seymour and was a 1991 graduate of Seymour High School. After graduating from high school, he went to work at Lee’s Ready Mix, where he worked for 16 years. He then went to work for Indiana Department of Transportation, where he was most recently employed.

He was a wonderful father, who enjoyed fishing, working on cars and was known as a fix-it man.

Other survivors include a son, Dakota Goble; fiancée, Marigold Raliegh and her son, Edward Raliegh; brother, William Lee (Greta) Goble; sister, Paula Jo Pruitt; aunts and uncles; niece, Alaina Engelking; and nephews, Jared Engelking, Vinnie Goble, William Goble and Jacob Goble.

The funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Voss Chapel with the Rev. Steve Greene officiating.

Cremation will follow at Voss and Sons Crematory.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until time of service Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or donor’s choice of charity.
