John Kovacich, 92, of Scipio, died at 3:55 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2015, at Jennings Health Care Center in North Vernon.

Survivors include three sons, Francis “Frank” (Linda) Kovacich of North Vernon, Thomas (Teresa) Kovacich of Greensburg, and Terry (Debra) Kovacich of Louisburg, Missouri; two daughters, Joan (Edward) Webster of Towanda, Pennsylvania, and Sue (Carl) Mullikin of Napoleon; 18 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon.

Visitation will be from noon until time of service.

A committal service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Vernon Cemetery with members of Matt Hester Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2021 providing military graveside rites.
