Pine Ridge Extension Homemakers entertained Leftovers 4-H Club members with an end-of-season party Aug. 4 at Peace Lutheran Church in Seymour.

Carol White and President Sandi Hall served as hostesses for the homemakers, who brought cookies to go with pizza and drinks. Games followed with prizes for all.

The 15 4-H’ers present discussed their projects for the past year and displayed items, posters and ribbons earned. Ten 4-H cub leaders and parents attended along with 13 homemakers.

Hall presided at the homemakers meeting following the party.

Aryss Beebe led in singing “This Land Is Your Land.”

The roll call response was to name a favorite picnic food, with potato salad earning top billing.

Carolyn Krieger will deliver Meals on Wheels in August and Hall will do so in September.

White gave devotions about the topic of discouragement.

The next meeting will be at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 22 at Krieger’s home.
