Anna Lee Madden, 75, of Crothersville, passed away at 4:06 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born Sept. 29, 1939, in Clay County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Oscar and Leona Cheek Minton, both of whom preceded her in death. On Sept. 10, 1960, in London, Kentucky, she married Bruce Madden. He survives in Crothersville.

She worked in multiple restaurant establishments, at the former shirt factory in Seymour and U.S. Shoe Corp. in Crothersville and retired from Schneck Medical Center in Seymour in 2002. She enjoyed music, gardening, fishing, family get-togethers, going out to eat Chinese with her sisters and taking trips to the casinos. She would light up like a winning slot machine with excitement when she would arrive at the casino. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Other survivors include two children, Roger (Amber) Madden of Crothersville and Angie (Josh) Barnes of Crothersville; grandchildren, Kendra (Ben) Lengel of Salem, and Cheyenne Madden, Wyatt Madden and Lanie Barnes, all of Crothersville; and siblings, Jewell England of Manchester, Kentucky, Elsie (Bill) Money, Wayne (Lucinda) Minton, Joyce (John) Hammons, Marshall (Wyanna) Minton and Mary Miller, all of Crothersville, Kathy (Travis) Wooten of Austin and Ronald Minton of Manchester.

Three brothers, Loren Minton, Darrell Minton and Ray Minton, preceded him in death.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Adams Family Funeral Home and Crematory in Crothersville with burial to follow at Cana Cemetery. Pastor Mark Wooten and Pastor Randy King will officiate.

Friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday and after 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Cana Cemetery or Ronald McDonald House.
