Gov. Mike Pence recently reappointed Gregory E. Hinton to a three-year term on the Indiana State Egg Board.

Hinton, a Seymour resident, is vice president of the board this year, representing federal/state inspected plants. His three-year term runs through July 31, 2018.

The Indiana Egg Law was enacted in 1939 and revised in 1993 by the legislature. It calls for the board to formulate and determine standards of quality and weights of eggs sold or offered for sale as fresh eggs.
