Owls finish 13th at Providence Invite

HENRYVILLE

Seymour junior Hannah Thompson led the girls golf team to a 13th place finish, shooting a 90, amongst stiff competition at Fuzzy Zeller’s course in Henryville on Saturday.

The Owls’ Bailey Goben came in next with a 100, Andrea Axsom carded a 113, Jenna Ebler scored 137 and Kara Rice finished with a 144.

Evansville North finished top-dog with a 299, Floyd Central got second at 309 and Evansville Memorial rounded-out the top three at 317.

Bloomington South’s Cherise Otter, reigning IHSAA state champion, claimed top-medalist in a three-way tie by shooting a 70 (-2).

Today, the Owls will host Hoosier Hills Conference rival Colum-bus East at Shadowood Golf Course.
