Kerry Royce Wyatt, 56, of Paoli, passed away Sunday, Aug. 16, 2015, at IU Health of Paoli.

Born Sept. 7, 1958, in Murray, Kentucky, he was the son of Waburn Wyatt and Brenda Young Wyatt, both of whom preceded him in death. On July 9, 1994, he married Rachel Greathouse Wyatt, who survives at Paoli.

Kerry attended Kirksey Elementary and graduated from Calloway County High School in Murray, Kentucky, in 1976. He received both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in agriculture education from Murray State University. Kerry was previously employed by Kennedy Tobacco and raised tobacco on his family farm. Kerry taught agriculture at Lowes and Symsonia high schools in Kentucky. He recently retired from Paoli Community Schools as the agriculture teacher and FFA adviser after 28 years. He attended Paoli United Methodist Church and was a member of West Fork Baptist Church in Stella, Kentucky.

Besides his wife of 21 years, survivors include a sister, Stephanie Wyatt of Murray, Kentucky; a brother, Terry Dale (Kim) Wyatt of Murray, Kentucky; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Rebecca (Edwin) Greathouse Tinkle of Fort Myers, Florida; a niece, Bridget Swatzell of Murray, Kentucky; two nephews, Tanner Wyatt, Murray, Kentucky, and Davis Tinkle of Orlando, Florida; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Don and Thelma Greathouse of Brownstown.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at JH Churchill Funeral Home in Murray, Kentucky, with the Rev. Wayne Carter officiating.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Dillman-Scott Funeral Home, 226 W. Campbell St., Paoli, and from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. until time of service Saturday at JH Churchill Funeral Home in Murray, Kentucky.

Burial will be at West Fork Baptist Church Cemetery in Stella, Kentucky.
