Southern Indiana Center for the Arts is partnering with BloomBank in presenting the Family ARTventure “Into the Wild” from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the arts center, 2001 N. Ewing St., Seymour.

The free family event will feature outdoor activities, including Seymour High School FFA’s small animal petting zoo, Utopia Wildlife Rehabilitators small wild animals, James “Chainsaw” Johnson tree-carving demonstration and children’s crafts.

The arts center’s pottery barn and print museum also will be open for viewing.

The arts center is looking for area artists who have nature-related pieces they would like to promote and/or sell that day. If you are interested, call 812-522-2278.

This event also will be the opening of the arts center’s Edward Jones/Seymour Offices annual Judged Art Show. Winners will be announced at noon. The show will be on display through the end of September.
