Veterans of the Civilian Conservation Corps and their family and friends are invited to a reunion Sept. 26 at Brown County State Park.

Indiana State Parks conducts the annual reunion to recognize the work of the CCC in developing parks in Indiana and elsewhere.

Attendees are encouraged to bring photo albums, memorabilia and anything else they would like to share.

Participants are urged to meet at the Friends of Brown County Shelter House near the nature center at 10:30 a.m. for introductions, sharing of photos, stories and a short presentation.

Lunch for CCC veterans will be provided. All others should either bring a picnic lunch or may purchase a catered lunch for $8 per person. Purchased and veteran lunches must be reserved in advance by RSVP. Drinks will be provided for all.
