The Indiana Department of Veterans Affairs plans to conduct a community outreach event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 10 at Columbus Learning Center, 4555 Central Ave.

The event is a one-stop shop for veterans, service members and their dependents. Assistance with remission of fees, VA benefits, claims processing, care, employment, education and more will be available.

Employers for companies, such as Duke Energy, Cummins Engine Co. and Honda Motor Co., will be on site to conduct pre-interviews, and a women’s veteran coordinator will attend.
