Clona Edna Marsh, 89, of Seymour passed away Friday, Aug. 28, 2015, at Covered Bridge Health Campus.

Born May 5, 1926, in Marion County, she was the daughter of Ezra and Nellie Pugh Clouse, both of whom preceded her in death. On Jan. 10, 1942, in Jackson County, she married Raymond Marsh. He survives.

Edna was a member of Reddington Christian Church and worked for U.S. Shoe Corp. for 34 years before retiring from Cummins after 12 years of service. Edna had a “green thumb.” She loved to garden and attend to her flowers. Her family said she also was an amazing cook. She enjoyed spending time at the lake, going fishing and camping with her husband. Edna was a collector of many things over the years.

Other survivors include her sons, Raymond Tom (Kathy) Marsh, Monty (Pam) Marsh, Rick Marsh and Dick Marsh; grandchildren, Shannon Snyder, Sabrina McKillip, Samantha Eline and Dustin Marsh; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Besides her parents, Edna was preceded in death by an infant grandson, Justin J. Marsh; grandson, Arthur “Artie” Marsh; stepson Howard Max Marsh; brothers, Wallace “Eddie” Clouse and Floyd Claude Clouse; and sisters, Virginia Petro, Dorothy Canfield and Betty Petro.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Voss Chapel with Pastor Scott Brown officiating. Burial will be in Reddington Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 1 p.m. until time of service Wednesday.
