Library offering Minecraft program for children

Jackson County Public Library will offer a free Minecraft program for students in kindergarten through sixth grade at 4 p.m. Sept. 8 at the Crothersville Library and at 4 p.m. Sept. 10 at the Medora Library.

Registration is required for these programs, and there is a limit of 20.

Minecraft is an online gaming platform worldwide for children of all ages.

Participants may bring their own device and connect to the library’s Wi-Fi. Laptops and iPads are available for use, provided by a 2015 grant received from the Institute of Museum and Library Services and the Indiana State Library.
