Motivational speaker Chad D. Malone will be presenting a workshop Sept. 15 at the Jackson County Learning Center, 323 Dupont Drive, Seymour.

Registration for the half-day EQUIP2EMPOWER conference will be from 8 to 8:30 a.m.

Malone, a Seymour native, will talk about relationships, team building and partnerships. Other speakers and their topics are Mark Sorrels, understanding your role as a leader; Nikki Ivey, overcoming obstacles; and Glenn Keller, being your best self.

On Sept. 12, Malone will be recognized as Motivational Speaker of the Year in Dallas by Heal the World Mission and La Expose.
